Eleven years onone beach.

Cox Bay is a long sand-bottom beach that forgives beginners and still throws a clean wall for the days you want more. We have taught here since 2014, we surf here on our days off, and we open the cafe early because cold water earns a good flat white.

Why surfwith us

Small groups, real coaching. Four surfers to a coach, never the crowd-of-twelve you get down the highway. You get watched, corrected, and pushed into more waves.

Our own beach gate. Suit up at the shop, walk straight through our gate onto the sand. No parking lot scramble, no carrying a board half a kilometre.

A fire pit for after. Surf, warm up at the pit out back, then a hot drink from the cafe. Most people stay an hour longer than they planned.

All coaches are Surf Canada certified and hold current first aid.

The cafe

Espresso from a Vancouver Island roaster, pastries baked up the highway, and a window that looks straight at the break. Surfed first? The drip refill is free.

Rentals

Already surf? Grab a board off the rack. Suits get thicker in winter, when the waves get better too.
